The problem with being first in your field, with Luna Javier

Luna Javier is the first-ever female game developer in the Philippines – but she kept that to herself for twenty years. In this conversation, she reveals why she kept quiet for so long and why she finally embraced her story – and how she now wants other women to own their narratives, take up space, and stand up straighter. Luna is the co-founder of mobile game studio Altitude Games, a Woman in Games ambassador, conference speaker, game awards judge, consultant, and mentor. However, she asks: How do you grow when you’re the first in your field?
