Surviving cancer, running marathons, and testing your limits, with Joy Wong

Joy Wong’s body has been put to the test multiple times. After miscarrying her baby, her doctors told her that she had gestational trophoblastic disease – a cancer that was activated by her pregnancy. The next months were a challenging period of chemotherapy, loneliness, and grief. Coming into remission became a rebirth: she became an adoptive mom, and began competing in triathlons. Where did she get her fortitude from, and, maybe more importantly, why is she doing all these?
